Weddings and Parties

Many original features retained from its days as a Welsh Presbyterian Chapel include:

• Pipe organ
• Wood-panelled gallery in the Upper Hall
• Fine vaulted ceiling in the Lower Hall

Both spaces have extensive natural lighting and are easily decorated to create a highly romantic and distinctive atmosphere.

An ideal combination is for an initial drinks reception to take place in the Lower Hall followed by dinner for up to 180 in the Upper Hall, with a disco or band in either the Upper or Lower Halls afterwards, depending on guest numbers.

The Lower Hall is also ideal for holding a separate blessing ceremony.

For a less formal occasion, with a band or disco or both in the Upper Hall, a running buffet can be served in the Lower Hall, seating around 60 to 70 people at any one time.

Decorations

Candlelight is especially effective in decorating both halls, which with the addition of floral displays quickly creates an intimate and delightful atmosphere for your event. For a truly magical effect, a canopy of pealights radiating from the balcony up to the ceiling is available for hire.

As part of our event planning service we offer an imaginative and exciting range of themes and decoration ideas to create a truly memorable occasion. Clients are free to arrange their own decorations and flowers if they so wish.

Catering

The Centre holds a list of caterers all of whom offer a highly personalised service to ensure that on the day your reception is perfect in every respect. The chefs are outstanding and the service is impeccable. Each caterer offers a delightfully distinctive style of cuisine providing you with an attractive range of options from which to choose.
